…but I used the Accucut cutter yesterday. It came with a die to make some plain circles. So I took a couple pieces of fabric and put wonder under between them and pressed, then used the die to cut some fabric discs. Glued some gold string around the edges (using plain school glue), then around the outside stitched with a feather stitch. The feather stitch caught the string on the edge, so even if the glue dries, it will hang on. They look a bit like coasters with loops, but the feather stitch on the edge makes them a bit more festive.
Anyway, plan to use them to decorate packages, and then they can be hung on the tree for a bit of color.
AND–Today is December 21st, the shortest day of the year. That means from here on out, the days get longer. Woot!
